FOLTX Overview: Common Use(s)
FOLTX is a multivitamin, commonly used as a supplement to prevent/treat vitamin deficiency. This combination of vitamins provides folic acid, vitamin B-6, and vitamin B-12 to people who lack the amount these vitamins for good health. FOLTX also has other uses and is prescribed to treat other conditions (such as certain heart and blood vessel diseases) by reducing your body’s level of homocysteine. High homocysteine levels may be linked to narrowing of the arteries, and lowering these levels may decrease your risk of heart attack, dementia, kidney disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease. If you are experiencing any of the above conditions, you may want to ask your doctor about how FOLTX can help.
